| I am fascinated by the wonder and beauty of this place we call earth, with
its many and diverse inhabitants. Using my camera to explore, I discover and see anew the
world that surrounds us. Thus, I make most of my images close to home and include such
subjects as flowers, pets, people, nature in general, and soap bubbles. (Yes, soap
bubbles! Something in me absolutely refuses ever to be totally grown up.) Whether photographing an elusive bubble, a flower, a pet, or a person, my goal is to capture commonplace beauty in a way that shows how extraordinary the ordinary can be. Photography is one of the ways I say "thanks" for being alive. It helps me to connect to something much greater than myself. Through my photo notes, enlargements, and custom photography, I share my images with others and multiply my pleasure and joy. |
